Yom Ha'atzmaut - April 25th, 2007
Remembrance Day for the Fallen of Israel's Wars is commemorated a week after Holocaust Remembrance Day, as a day of remembrance for those who fell in the struggle for the establishment of the State of Israel and in its defense. As part of Remembrance Day, Ezra USA would like to share with you a powerful story about a soldier, Michael Levin, who died in IDF and gave his life defending Israel . The Levin family has established a foundation with the sole purpose being to better the life of those "lonely soldiers" who while in the IDF, have no family support in Israel .A short film documentary has been produced to honor the memory of Michael Levin. This documentary, "A Hero in Heaven", is endorsed by the Levin family and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. The film tells of Michael's devotion to his family, his people and Eretz Yisrael in a unique and powerful way... Join us on Thursday, April 26th, 2007 @ 8:00 pm at Ezra Moadon - Let's remember those who perished fighting for their country and people.
